Here's my current communication with the GM's on the retarded Axe from the x2 on thursday night.
Pretty much their not letting it be transferred because it was a Server Disco, and some new rules they put in place so they dont have to.
Anyone have any other ideas? I'm pretty sure necko's just screwed on this one.

Though it is true that we are doing swaps on select items that drop from the new content, your Ghis' Axe was a server first drop which is something we are never able to swap between players. This is the reason we are not going to be able to grant your request to give this item to Necko. We thank you for your understanding in the matter.

My guild had a similar issue to this previously (still in this expansion), and they transferred the item no problem. "Unable" is a strong choice of word, as we've seen it done already this expac.
I'm a Templar, I have ZERO use for the Ghis' Axe, it was not intentionally looted to me, loot rules were somehow set to Round Robin (we assume) because of an unfortunate linkdeath, had we known of this, we would have looted the items responsibly, being this our first run into the new X2 instance.
I know you guys are really busy with the Battlegrounds fiasco that's been going on, but it'd be really appreciated if Necko could get the axe he earned. |

Our raid leader had loot set to round robin so when he was duoing so he wouldn't need to click 'accept' every single time on the legendary trash from The Hole. When the raid was formed, this was the only mob that we went to go kill, because we had cleared up to him the previous day. As soon as ANYONE in the raid clicked the box, it instantly distributed the entire contents.
The item that I looted is not even EQUIPPABLE by my class. It's All Scouts, Berserker, Guardian. I am a Templar. If the item were even wearable I might see the point in not moving it, unfortunately, all this 'Server Disco' item is going to be is vender fodder unless you can help me here. It's an extremely nice item, and because of that, I truly hope you can bend your rules just this one time. I promise that it wont happen again, it was a stupid mistake, and only happened because it was so late at night that we finally killed it.
(The raid leader wasn't actually the one to open the box, it was the mystic who clicked it, resulting in the items being RANDOMLY assigned to raid members) |
